Sorry it took me so long to post these, I've been done with them for a while now.

This one was done for Lee, I gave it to him on Valentines Day :). He has it hanging in his office and tells me all the time how much he loves it. It took me about 5 settings, guessing around 10 hours in total. Which is a lot considering it's only an 8 x 10, haha.

This one I did just for fun, it's completely original (no references used - aside from the flower heads). I have this one on www.Etsy.com
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=21714339
trying to sell it for $60.00. It was finished in February and is a 12 x 24.

I'm working on a really neat one right now, it's an ocean scene looking out of a window, it's about halfway done, hopefully I'll get it finished soon...but there has been so much excitement lately, I've been neglecting it.

The house business is coming alone slow but great. We made an offer on a new house (I haven't yet posted the pictures, but I will soon - promise!) which we absolutely LOVE!! I'll tell more about it once I post pictures though. Anyway, we made an offer, the bank countered our offer and we accepted the bank's counter. So now we are just waiting to hear from the escrow company. We've signed all the papers already and are getting impatient! haha, but soon enough...it will be ours! They've estimated our closing day to be May 5, so in a little over a month we will be home owners!!

On Tuesday night (St. Patty's day) around 10pm, Lee and I decided to go for a motorcycle ride. So we geared up, hopped on the bike, and started cruising around town. We drove to the new house just for fun. We went around to the backyard and just laid there, taking in the feeling that soon this piece of property would be ours :). It was fun to start thinking about what changes we want to make to it, and where we would put our things etc. Just taking in the moment of first time home buying. It was an awesome feeling.

Then before we left, we played a quick game of kickball with a soccerball we found in the court, haha. We both are trying really hard not to get TOO excited about it, just because - well it's not official yet, and things can happen. But...it is SO EXCITING!
